Welcome to DEB2TGZ a fully automated package conversion site. Here you can convert any of the main debian packages to a tar.gz file for use on a system without Debian package management
Go to /debian/pool/ if you just want to get started with browsing the package tree. Just choose the Debian package you want to convert and it will be converted for you.
At the moment there's just an FAQ describing what's going on here. More info will follow in due course.
Repackaging script reworked, hopefully more stable
Site back online at a new host.
We were having some problems with the syncing daemon, which prevented files from being converted, this should be resolved shortly.
Site now publically available.
